🎮 THE PROJECT


Build UI systems that maintain 144+ FPS while handling real-time combat data for thousands of concurrent players.


Join the creators of Call of Duty, Halo, and Bioshock along side the Ironbelly Studios team in Montreal. We're crafting an extraction shooter that pushes Unreal Engine 5 to its absolute limits - where every millisecond of UI rendering impacts competitive outcomes.


💼 You Will Own
  • Performance-Critical Architecture: Design UI systems in UE5's UMG that handle intense multiplayer combat without dropping a single frame
  • Real-Time HUD Systems: Build server-authoritative HUD elements with client prediction for zero-latency competitive play
  • Complex Interactive Systems: Craft real-time inventory, loadout customization, and spectator modes that feel instant
  • Systems Integration: Connect UI seamlessly with weapon mechanics, AI state machines, and persistent player progression
  • Innovation Layer: Pioneer interfaces for player-owned economies and comprehensive creator tools
  • Rapid Iteration Tools: Build workflows that let our team iterate at the speed of player feedback


✅ Requirements
  • 5+ years UI programming in game development
  • Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine 5's UMG system and UI architecture patterns
  • Strong C++ programming with proven UI system implementation
  • Extensive Blueprint visual scripting for UI logic and data binding
  • 2+ shipped titles (commercial games or major live-service updates)
  • Proven experience with UI performance optimization and memory management
