Our client is a private equity-backed CPG company operating across six consumer brands, with a strong focus on beauty and skin health. The company is in an active growth phase, launching new products and scaling ecommerce performance across Amazon and other eRetail platforms.
The commercial organization is lean and fast-moving, with high standards for creative quality. The team values efficiency, clear communication, and creative partners who can quickly understand the brief, apply brand and regulatory guardrails, and deliver strong first-round outputs.
This role will sit within a digital pod spanning ecommerce and social, working closely with senior stakeholders and brand teams.
About the Role
The client is hiring its first in-house Amazon Multimedia Designer to support a growing volume of creative needs across priority brands.
This role is ideal for a designer who thrives at the intersection of Amazon ecommerce design, paid media, and video, and who enjoys taking ownership of creative execution end-to-end. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality static and video assets for Amazon DSP, A+ Content, carousels, and paid social cutdowns - helping reduce reliance on agencies while speeding up feedback loops.
The ideal candidate can take a high-level product brief, apply creative judgment, and deliver work that’s already close to final in the first round.
Responsibilities
- Design high-performing Amazon creatives, including:
- DSP display ads
- Carousel images
- A+ Content
- Product-focused static assets
- Social content
- Create and adapt video content, including:
- Organic-style videos
- Cut-downs and adaptations for paid media
- Translate product one-pagers and briefs into compelling visual stories without over-prescription.
- Maintain visual consistency across Amazon and other eRetail platforms.
- Collaborate closely with ecommerce, social, and brand teams.
- Manage multiple brands and priorities, starting with key flagship brands before expanding scope.
- Organize assets and workflows using shared folders and simple pipelines (completed / in progress / upcoming).
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and iterate quickly while maintaining high creative standards.
- Work within regulatory and compliance constraints common to beauty and health products.
- Leverage tools such as Photoshop and 3D rendering platforms (e.g., OMI) to enhance creative output.

Competencies and Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ Years of Relevant Ecommerce Design Experience - At least two years of hands-on experience in ecommerce or Amazon-focused multimedia/graphic design. Experience quality and portfolio strength matter more than tenure alone.
- Amazon Creative Execution - Proven ability to design Amazon-specific assets such as DSP display ads, carousel images, and A+ Content that align with performance and brand objectives.
- Beauty, Skin Health, or Regulated CPG Experience - Prior experience designing for beauty, skincare, or health-related products with regulatory considerations.
- Static & Video Design Skills - Strong capability in producing both static creatives and video assets, including organic-style videos and paid media cut-downs.
- Product-Centric Visual Storytelling - Ability to translate product one-pagers and minimal briefs into compelling, conversion-focused creative, particularly within beauty, skin health, or adjacent CPG categories.
- Creative Autonomy with Direction - Comfortable taking creative license while respecting brand guidelines, regulatory constraints, and business goals.
- High Attention to Detail & Organization - Demonstrates strong organizational skills in managing assets, timelines, and pipelines, ensuring clarity and efficiency across teams.
- Feedback-Driven Collaboration - Receptive to direct, frequent feedback and able to iterate quickly without loss of momentum or morale.
Nice-to-Have
- Paid Media & Performance Awareness - Familiarity with how creative impacts performance in Amazon DSP, programmatic display, and paid social environments.
- 3D Rendering & Advanced Design Tools - Exposure to 3D rendering tools (such as OMI) or similar platforms integrated with Photoshop.
- Copywriting - Ability to support light copy adjustments or visual hierarchy decisions that improve message clarity.
