You will lead a talented team with both direct and indirect reports, creating a culture where sales excellence and exceptional service go hand in hand. This role requires someone who can think strategically while rolling up their sleeves to make things happen — a true builder who sees possibilities where others see obstacles.

This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of a dynamic, purpose-driven organization. If you're a proven revenue leader who combines strategic vision with operational excellence, a track record of inspiring sales teams while championing service excellence, and a passion for building something extraordinary, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Inspire and lead a high-performing sales organization, bringing out the best in producers and account executives
  • Implement proven sales methodologies and coaching frameworks to accelerate producer development and performance
  • Foster collaboration between sales and service teams to ensure seamless client experiences

Service Excellence & Client Retention

  • Champion a service-first culture that ensures every client interaction reflects a commitment to excellence
  • Implement voice-of-customer programs and feedback loops to continuously improve service delivery

Strategic Leadership & Innovation

  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy and decision-making
  • Think creatively to identify innovative solutions, new service offerings, and strategic partnerships

What You Bring

Required Experience & Expertise

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in employee benefits
  • Direct experience running an employee benefits agency or leading a large-scale revenue-generating organization
  • Proficiency in Agency Management Systems (CRM), enrollment systems, Excel, and similar technology tools in the benefits arena
  • 8+ years driving significant revenue growth, scaling organizations, and leading sales teams to achieve extraordinary results
  • Experience building and nurturing service-oriented cultures that drive client retention and satisfaction
  • Experience in Small Group, Mid-Market (level-funded/ASO), Consumer Markets (Medicare & Individual), and familiarity with association health plans (AHPs/MEWAs)

Leadership Qualities & Capabilities

  • Strategic Operator: Equally comfortable developing long-term strategies and executing tactical plans for immediate results
  • Builder Mindset: Thrives in environments where new programs, processes, and capabilities can be created from the ground up
  • People-First Leader: Leads with compassion while maintaining high performance standards
  • Integrity-Driven: Models ethical decision-making and accountability
  • Results-Oriented: Driven by achievement and committed to exceeding goals
  • Collaborative Partner: Builds strong cross-functional relationships and aligns teams toward common objectives

Location & Work Environment

This position is based in Bellevue, Washington. The role requires regular presence in the office to build relationships, lead teams, and drive culture. Relocation support is available for exceptional candidates from outside the area.
