We’re building infrastructure that helps platforms launch Bitcoin-secured card programs and real-world payment capabilities. Our focus is making complex card and settlement systems seamless, secure, and developer-friendly — so users can spend in USD while holding BTC.
We’re an early-stage team working at the intersection of fintech, payments, and Bitcoin infrastructure.
We’re looking for an App Developer Intern to learn and contribute alongside our CTO as we prototype and refine components of our card management system.
This is a fully remote, unpaid internship structured as a hands-on learning experience for developers interested in fintech and secure systems.
You’ll gain exposure to real infrastructure decisions, modern development workflows, and startup product iteration.
Projects may include:
- Supporting migration and hardening of identity/auth systems (environment parity, secrets handling, health checks)
- Improving code quality (linting, typing, documentation, safe refactors)
- Assisting with automated database snapshots for test seeding and CI
- Enhancing internal admin dashboards (metrics visibility, logs, role-based views)
- Building read-only REST APIs with pagination and authentication
- Exploring integration patterns for crypto swap providers
- Expanding test coverage and edge-case handling (timeouts, retries, fallbacks)
Work is completed under mentorship and review. Contributions are educational in nature and aligned with structured learning goals.
- Participate in feature discussions and implementation support
- Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code
- Assist with debugging and testing across web and backend services
- Contribute to lightweight documentation and QA feedback
- Join bi-weekly stand-ups and collaborative planning sessions
- Learn and apply security-minded engineering practices

Nice if you have (or are actively developing):
- Coursework or projects in CS, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Comfort in one or more of: TypeScript/Node/React, Python, or Go
- Familiarity with REST APIs and web fundamentals
- Curiosity about fintech, payments, Bitcoin, and secure infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
Bonus exposure to:
- Postgres, Redis, ORMs (Prisma, SQLAlchemy, etc.)
- OAuth/OIDC, RBAC
- CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions)
- Testing frameworks (Jest, Pytest, Go test)
