What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a creative, strategic, and data-driven Social Media Manager to amplify our brand, connect with our core audience of college-bound families, and educate the public on the critical importance of starting with the career, not the college.

You’ll develop and execute engaging content across platforms, with a focus on lead generation, thought leadership, and brand visibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn (TikTok optional)

• Create engaging posts that resonate with our target persona: parents like Jennifer Thompson - a proactive, research-oriented mom navigating college and career choices for her teen
• Collaborate with our founder and client success team to highlight wins, promotions, and events
• Monitor and report on KPIs (growth, engagement, CTRs, lead conversions)
• Repurpose webinar content, blog posts, and email campaigns for social sharing
• Stay ahead of trends in education, financial literacy, and career planning to keep our content fresh and relevant
  
  

Who You Are

• A strong writer with a flair for storytelling, especially for parents and high school families
• Experienced in managing business social media accounts (education/parenting/finance niches a big plus)
• Comfortable using tools like Canva, Later, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics
• Passionate about helping families make smarter education investments
• Strategic thinker with a creative edge and able to balance brand consistency with innovation
• Bonus if you’ve personally navigated (or helped others navigate) the college admissions journey
