The Role: Vision Meets Execution
As the Director of Brand, you’ll own the brand’s creative and content vision end-to-end—from concept to production to optimization. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of videographers and editors, while collaborating closely with the CEO and department heads to execute high-impact brand and content strategies.
You must have a portfolio of work that demonstrates your ability to create content that scales, drives community engagement, and converts attention into action.

While this is a remote role, the Director of Brand must operate during Eastern Standard Time business hours to support effective collaboration with leadership and internal teams.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the CEO to refine and execute a cohesive brand and content strategy
- Translate company goals into content initiatives that grow audience and brand equity
- Develop and maintain creative vision decks, brand guidelines, and campaign plans
2. Team Development & Oversight
- Manage and mentor in-house and freelance creatives (video, design, copy, and social)
- Build processes for streamlined execution, feedback, and iteration
- Approve all final assets to ensure they meet brand standards and performance targets
3. Content Strategy & Execution
- Own and maintain a consistent publishing calendar across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more
- Concept and direct campaigns, series, and high-converting content funnels
- Implement SEO, algorithm, and analytics best practices into the creative process

4. Performance Optimization
- Analyze platform insights and content metrics to inform creative direction
- Report growth trends, audience behavior, and campaign results to executive leadership

- Instagram Growth: Grow to 100K+ followers through high-conversion visual storytelling
- YouTube Growth: Grow to 10K+ subscribers with engaging, long-form and short-form content
- Content Cadence: Maintain and execute a weekly release schedule with minimal deviation
- Engagement: Drive consistent increases in reach, shares, and audience retention
- Team Efficiency: Reduce bottlenecks and improve production turnaround time
Ideal Candidate Profile
You're not just a “creative” — you’re a performance-driven leader who knows how to craft content that converts, scales, and elevates the brand. You’re confident in your taste, data-literate, and deeply collaborative.
Must-Haves
- 3+ years in a senior-level creative or brand role (Director of Brand, Creative Director, Head of Content, etc.)
- Proven experience leading content and brand strategy for digital-first brands or creators
- Demonstrated success scaling Instagram and YouTube to 100K+ and 10K+ respectively
- Deep understanding of digital platforms, trends, and formats (YT, IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, Podcasts)
- Experience directing and reviewing multi-format assets: video, design, copy, motion, etc.
- Clear communication, strong creative instincts, and a relentless pursuit of excellence
