Job Description Summary The ADMS System Engineer will be part of the Technical delivery team with responsibility in delivering software solutions in smart grid and energy market areas. He will be in charge of implementing advanced applications for the distribution network which includes functional design, software design, development & testing, and application integration and tuning.
The role will require to run regular site missions to our different clients in the region during the specification and site implementation phases of our solutions.

Roles And Responsibilities
The ADMS system engineer's responsibilities includes functional software specifications, design, coding, testing, integration, customer testing and delivery. It includes the following tasks :
- Acts as technical lead on specification, design, development, implementation, tuning and maintenance of software for one or more ADMS system applications.
- Ensures quality assurance standards and procedures are followed in all aspects of software development.
- Consults with other technical leads to ensure that project-related system design guidelines are being followed.
- Performs ADMS system applications tuning, results analysis, defect analysis and correction.
- Understanding and using the GIS database schema and ADMS database schema and related functions and to provide mapping in between ADMS and GIS.
- Using programming language skills and database conversion skills for the creation of conversion platform
- Converting one database format to another (i.e .gdb to .xml )and enable a transformation platform for the delivery
- Topology analysis, creating topology, finding solutions geospatial oriented to accommodate healthy topology build
- Plans the implementation tasks, monitor progresses and costs, evaluates CTC (cost to complete) for his assigned ADMS tasks
- Provides input to delivery manager on schedules, cost estimates, risks evaluation and mitigation plan.
- Interfaces and develops relationships with customers and partners on general and specific issues within area of functional expertise.
- Assists Marketing/Sales/Tendering with major technical strategy development and deployment
- Provides marketing support for proposals and demonstrations to potential customers.
- Speaker at international conferences with technical publication
- Mentors interns and junior staff.
- Provides level three technical support and in-depth problem solving capabilities.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Required Qualifications
- This role requires advanced experience in the Services & Digital Implementation Services. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Mandatory Characteristics
- knowledge on GE ADMS product is must along with ADMS application and data model structure
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
