Job Title: Architectural Designer

Location: Fully Remote, Philippines

Rate: $5 - $7 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time

Job Description

As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for supporting a property development practice focused on projects in Canada. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can adapt to local zoning rules and regulations, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Strong research skills with ability to quickly understand and apply zoning codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, drawings, and plans for property development projects.
• Research and apply local zoning and building regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with the lawyer/owner and other stakeholders to refine project requirements.
• Prepare and revise architectural drawings and technical documentation.
• Provide input on project feasibility and design considerations.

• Must have their own work device (preferably a desktop or laptop) and a stable internet connection.
• Must be comfortable with using a time-tracking software for payroll purposes.
  
  

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:

• A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
• A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
• A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
• Healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.
• Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
