Job Description
IPOT, a popular Asian fusion restaurant based in San Francisco, is seeking a smart, self-driven Operations Analyst to help manage and improve key areas of the business. This is a remote, flexible role for someone who can wear multiple hats—handling admin tasks, coordinating marketing, tracking expenses, and assisting with hiring.
You’ll work closely with ownership to support the day-to-day needs of the restaurant from behind the scenes, helping us stay organized and scale effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general administrative workflows and digital organization
- Assist with marketing coordination, including social media planning
- Track and report business expenses and receipts
- Manage job postings, screen candidates, and support onboarding
- Create light documentation or process guides as needed
- Collaborate directly with the founder on operational tasks and strategy
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Self-starter with a problem-solving attitude
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Excel, ChatGPT, Zoho, etc.
- Experience in admin, operations, marketing or small business support is a plus
- Passion for the food / hospitality industry is a bonus
