We are looking for a well-organised and proactive Remote Staffing & Employee Coordinator to help manage our distributed team across Australia. This is a remote-first role, available as part-time or full-time, ideal for someone with a passion for people, process, and efficient team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing, onboarding, and scheduling remote staff
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate shift planning, leave tracking, and availability updates
- Support performance tracking and internal communications
- Act as a liaison between employees and HR/management
- Help improve workflows and remote staff engagement processes
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, remote workforce support, or team administration
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Tech-savvy with experience using HRIS, Google Workspace, or scheduling tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Australian employment standards and remote team dynamics
- Experience in recruitment support or contractor coordination
- Exposure to tools like Slack, Zoom, Trello, or Monday.com
