100% Remote Social Media Operations Specialist

Contract to hire


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working withing a ticketing system such as Jira to manage social media requests.
  • Experience writing and updating social media policy documentation.
  • Experience using social media monitoring platforms such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social, (proficiency in Sprout Social is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Meta Business Manager & Meta Ads Manager.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Business Manager & LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Experience developing Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
  • This role requires extensive knowledge of social media account creation processes, including Facebook pages, YouTube channels, Instagram accounts, and WhatsApp Business accounts.
  • In addition, you should have experience working with Meta Business Manager and Google MCC at a level that involves managing multiple users, assets, and ad accounts, including billing setup such as credit lines and payments profiles.
  • Experience re-claiming Facebook pages that were launched and never connected to our Meta business manager.
  • This involves troubleshooting how to connect it, recover the page and troubleshooting with our Meta support team.


JOB DESCRIPTION

One of our largest pharmaceutical clients is looking for a Social Media Operations Specialist to join the Digital Marketing Solutions team. This person will continue to help establish and setup the social media operations for the Digital Marketing Solutions team (DMS). They will work closely with our Animal Health Global Marketing, Global Communications and Pharmacovigilance teams on continuing to build out the operation, update existing policies and further develop the governance model. Ideally, he/she has experience managing the platform administration and backend operations of the different social media platforms. Please note this is not a social media marketing strategy role and the candidate will not be responsible for writing campaigns or doing the individual marketing for each social channel. This is managed by the individual brand teams.
