Job Description
Anshar Studios is looking for a talented Senior/Expert Gameplay Programmer to join our team to develop games using Unreal Engine. As a Senior/Expert Unreal Engine Game Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality gameplay features and systems for our upcoming projects. - Own development of multiple features or a large sub-system.
- Conduct discussions with other programmers to provide the best technical solutions.
- Actively troubleshoot technical questions or potential issues, preventing bottlenecks in production.
- Provide regular guidance to other programmers, to ensure that all teams are producing code that is sound, efficient and maintainable.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other programmers to ensure seamless integration of gameplay elements.
- Design game code architecture.
- Design, develop and implement gameplay in Unreal Engine.
- Optimize and debug game code to ensure performance and stability.
- Contribute to the overall game design and vision.
- Create informative and helpful technical and process documentation.
- Demonstrate care and commitment to quality software development.
- At least 6 years of experience as Unreal Engine Gameplay Programmer.
- Familiarity with Gameplay Ability System and Gameplay Tags.
- Familiarity with multiplayer game development and networking in UE.
- Credited as a programmer in at least 2 commercial video games.
- Strong knowledge of C++ and object oriented programming.
- Considerable math skills.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging and profiling skills.
- Inquiring, Reliable, Organized.
- Strong team communication and teamwork skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Advanced English (B2/C1 level).
- Experienced in game creation processes and pipelines.
- Passion for video games.
- Unreal Engine proficiency.
- Experience in working on GaaS.
- Experience in implementing gameplay systems using Wwise.
- Experience in implementing in-game shop.
- Experience in integrating analytics systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems.
- Proficient in OOP, SOLID and design patterns.
- Fluent English (C1/C2 level).
- Wage 15 000 up to 31 500 zł on a contract (B2B + VAT) or recalculated on contract of employment depending on skills and experience.
