Software Engineer (RnD Motion)

We are looking for an Expert in Software Engineering to join our R&D Team and turn research prototypes into robust, well-engineered code that can be effectively used by our Core Gameplay Team. Our main goals for nearest future are to work with Next-Gen animation system development.

Responsibilities:

• Research, analyse and make recommendations for technology improvements;
• Optimise existing solutions and implement new approaches;
• Collaborate with other experts and share knowledge;
• Participate in the creation of a top game project for next generation consoles.

Skills and requirements:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in Game Development, AA / AAA titles advantageous;
• Expert knowledge of C++, deep knowledge of Algorithms and Optimisation;
• Experience in designing game systems architectures;
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 (or any other game engine) source code;
• Passion for research and implementation of innovative approaches;
• Strong knowledge of Game Mathematics;
• Theoretical background in Physics (Classical Mechanics, Kinematics, Dynamics);
• Experience in developing Animation Systems;
• Familiarity with smooth transition methods between animations.

Nice-to-Have:

• Ability to interpret scientific articles (papers);
• Experience with Motion Matching;
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 Animation System;
• Knowledge of Inverse Kinematics (IK).
• Experience with Physical Animations.
