- The primary responsibility of this role is to lead key stakeholder groups and employees within the Engineering Centre.
- Timely delivery of a range of HR support and expertise to our internal stakeholder groups, which includes HR matters relating to talent acquisition, onboarding, employee benefits, data management, HR systems, compensation reviews & benchmarking, salary proposals, performance reviews, co-ordination of L&D and engagement programs, employee relations and ad hoc projects.
- In addition, this role is responsible for coordinating engagement activities related to employee experience, HR projects; employee branding, internships and university recruitment
- Provide support for the day-to-day HR Operations for the Centre
- Guide managers and employees on all HR employment practices and policies
- Manage employee onboarding, monthly induction sessions and offboarding
- Support line managers to ensure deadlines are met for annual performance and compensation reviews
- Responsible for co-ordination of internal mobility, including relocation assistance for employees transferring within and into the region
- Assist with compensation benchmarking and salary proposals for new hires or internal moves
- Liaise with payroll to ensure timely and quality documentation provided for employees
- Provide data and information for monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required
- Coordinate participation in learning and development initiatives, including liaising with the Talent and Development team on initiatives.
- Provide an exceptional employee experience, through onboarding and engagement activities.
- Plan and participate in campus events, including career fairs, workshops, and info sessions.
- Tailor employer branding and coordinate campaigns to highlight our company culture, values, and unique offerings to target audiences.
- Create and manage engaging materials, including brochures, presentations, and social media content and to create engaging content for our careers page, social media, and other platforms.
- Organize and participate in events that promote the employer brand, such as open houses, career fairs, and webinars.
- Analyze brand perception metrics and provide recommendations for ongoing strategy improvements.
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Immigration management.
- Support in any other projects in COE and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in HRBP role with employer branding and campus engagement. .
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to inform branding initiatives.
- Experience with immigration processes end to end
- Adequate knowledge of current Malaysian labour rules and regulations including practical knowledge of staff industrial issues
- Strong interpersonal skills
