Role: ISM Technician
Location: Hongkong
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: 30,000 CTC
Job Summary:
The ISM Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of BAU Technology and Voice tasks, IT relocation projects, and hardware inventory management. The role involves supporting IT operations, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and assisting in business moves and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage hardware inventory, requests, and receipts.
- Monitor ticket queues and resolve IT support requests.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, system upgrades, and device deployments.
- Support IT relocation projects, hardware decommissioning, and business moves.
- Ensure IT room maintenance and manage comms room patching.
- Assist with event setups, including training rooms and office-wide events.
- Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, IP phones, and mobile devices.
- Work outside business hours as required, including weekends.
- Follow ITIL processes and Morgan Stanley procedures.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS, networks, and security.
- Experience with help desk call management systems.
- Industry certifications (MCSA, A+, Network+, CCENT, CCT) are a plus.
- Shell scripting experience (PowerShell, Perl) is a plus.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Experience in the financial industry preferred.
