ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
Delivered in partnership between the School of Communications & Creative Industries and the School of Computing & Innovative Technologies, BA (Hons) Games Art is an innovative degree focused on honing artistic skills, including 2D and 3D design, animation, and storytelling, providing students with the tools to craft visually stunning and immersive game environments. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, students learn to create characters, landscapes, and assets that bring virtual worlds to life.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Lecturers / Senior Lecturers (Academic Levels B & C)
(Essential)
- PhD or Doctoral qualifications and a Master's degree in a relevant discipline from an internationally recognized institution.
- University or postgraduate teaching experience in English.
- Advanced knowledge of Data Science and AI; proficiency in programming languages and data management tools.
- Understanding of data visualization tools.
- Higher education teaching qualification or willingness to pursue one.
- Ability to develop teaching programs and provide learning support.
- Knowledge of higher education delivery techniques to engage students.
- In-depth understanding of the discipline to advance knowledge.
- Evidence of a positive impact beyond personal teaching.
- Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and quality assurance.
- Research experience and high-quality publications.
- Understanding of equal opportunity issues affecting academic content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clean police record.
Associate Lecturers (Academic Level A)

- Enrolled in a PhD or Doctoral program and possess a Master’s degree in an relevant discipline from an internationally recognized institution.
- 3 years of university teaching experience in English.

Teaching Practitioners / Fellows / Senior Fellows (Essential)
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from an internationally recognized institution.
3 years of university teaching experience in English.
Knowledge of Data Science and AI; proficiency in programming languages and data management tools.
Understanding of data visualization tools.
Ability to develop teaching programs and engage students.
Understanding of equal opportunity issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

All Positions
(Essential)
- Knowledge and experience of 3D modelling software such as Maya, 3DS Max, Zbrush or Blender
- Knowledge and experience of the 3D asset pipeline for game development
(Desirable)
- Mathematical and statistical skills, experience in quantitative analysis.
- Industry experience and evidence of excellent teaching through peer review.
- Experience living and working in Vietnam or Asia.
- Experience in curriculum development and quality assurance.
- Positive impact at a discipline or program level beyond personal teaching.
- Higher education teaching qualification or willingness to pursue one.
- Knowledge and experience of Unreal Engine
- Knowledge and experience of Substance Painter
- Knowledge and experience of Photoshop

Academic Levels B and Above
- Evidence of high-quality publications and up-to-date research activity.
- Ability to lead research projects, win bids, and generate income.
- Experience teaching at postgraduate levels.
Note: Original certificates and degrees must be presented upon arrival in Vietnam, including degree, teaching certificates, and Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) or other police checks for work permit purposes.
