Senior System Administrator (relocation to Belgium)
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional with proven experience in Windows server/client administration, Active Directory management, and virtualization technologies. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, Agile-driven environment and contribute to IT system stability and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Windows servers and workstations, including recent operating systems such as Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Handle Active Directory management and implement/manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Oversee Windows domain and system administration, ensuring smooth operations and minimal system downtime.
- Utilize and manage deployment tools (e.g., SCCM) for effective system configuration and software deployment.
- Perform networking tasks and ensure a strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network configurations.
- Administer virtualization platforms (VMware administration) to ensure optimized resource utilization and system performance.
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and streamline administrative processes.
- Adapt and work efficiently in an Agile-driven organization and contribute to improving operational practices.
- Provide on-call support and occasional weekend work as scheduled.

Required Technical Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in a similar position, with at least 5 years of experience in the following:
- Active Directory management, including GPO handling and implementation.
- SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for system configuration and deployment.
- Administration of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server systems.
- Windows Server and client OS management.
- Solid understanding of networking, including TCP/IP protocols.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware administration).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for system automation and administration.
