Senior Payroll Officer (Bangkok-based, Relocation provided)

About the Role:
As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR administrative tasks, including labor contract management, payroll processing, and compliance adherence. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring timely and accurate payroll disbursements, and guaranteeing compliance with local labor laws. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. HR Administration:
- Draft and manage labor contracts and C&B-related documentation
- Monitor contract expirations and facilitate renewal processes
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding procedures, including documentation preparation and interdepartmental communication
- Maintain accurate and current employee records
2. Payroll Management:
- Liaise with departments to obtain approved timesheets
- Compute monthly payroll and secure necessary approvals
- Execute payroll disbursements
- Distribute monthly payslip to employees
3. Compliance and Reporting:
- Support C&B Team Manager in KPI management and communication
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to local authorities as required
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations
4. Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on special projects as assigned by the Line Manager
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Human Resources or related services
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
