Art Director - Social Casino and FTP Casual

Our client is an established games development studio looking for a passionate Art Director experienced in casual, hyper casual, or social casino with a stylised art style to lead their development teams. This role is fully remote with some travel once a quarter preferred.

VIDEOGAMES AND / OR SOCIAL CASINO EXPERIENCE AT ART DIRECTOR LEVEL IS ESSENTIAL

What you will be doing:

• Define, implement, and uphold art style guides and best practices. Along the lines of Zynga / Supercell / King etc aimed at 18+ years old audience.
• Close collaboration with the designers, animators, producers, and programmers to attain exceptional quality in projects, ensuring visible quality.
• Maintain high quality standards of the project.
• Participate in continuous review and feedback.
• Social casino projects, and casual and hyper casual free to play games.

Who you are:

• You have previous experience as an Art Director with multiple titles shipped in an Art Discipline.
• You are able to showcase a skilled portfolio highlighting your artwork.
• High proficiency with using Unity Engine and 2D Art Software
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed artistic choices that improve gameplay and user experience.
• Able to identify and resolve art workflow and staffing issues.
• Have a legitimate passion for games and awareness of the market and target demographic
