&Menzel is a Growth Marketing Creative agency based in Berlin with a global remote team specializing in crafting high-performance paid social ads for direct-to-consumer and established retail brands. We help our clients connect with their audiences by creating, data-driven ad campaigns that convert. With 80% of our clients operating in the German market, we are looking for a Creative Director & Creative Strategist with great german Copywriting skills who understands German cultural nuances and is ready to lead creative strategies for our clients.
We scale ad campaigns that increase the CLV of our clients by focusing on real growth.

- You are a creative visionary who knows how to transform data insights into compelling ad campaigns.
- You are fluent in German and have a deep understanding of German culture, trends, and consumer behavior.
- You are passionate about paid social advertising and experienced in developing ad concepts tailored for high performance.
- You are confident writing creative ad copy in German and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.
- You can read performance data (hook rates, hold rates, CTR, AOV, ROAS) and turn it into measurable creative concepts that propel campaign goals.
- You have experience in crafting UGC (User-Generated Content) concepts and overseeing their production to ensure authenticity and alignment with the brand message.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead the development of creative strategies for paid social ad campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and performance data.
- Collaborate with the Growth Marketer to understand top-performing products, sales trends, and audience insights and craft creative concepts based on that.
- Develop and present creative briefs to internal teams and clients, ensuring clarity and alignment on campaign goals.
- Ideate and plan UGC concepts to leverage authentic content that drives engagement and conversions.
- Create engaging ad concepts and write high-quality German ad copy that resonates with target audiences.
- Create concepts that follow a clear hypothesis, are founded on market awareness levels and promote creative diversity
- Adapt concepts for other markets by collaborating with the English Copywriter.
- Ensure all copy and creatives reflect the brand identity and are optimized for conversion.(direct responce copy)
- Oversee the execution of UGC production, ensuring content meets creative and performance standards.
- Work closely with the Creative Producer (Graphic & Motion Designer) to execute ad visuals that align with your concepts.
- Provide feedback on visuals, ensuring they meet creative and performance standards.
- Guide the localization of campaigns, maintaining consistency while tailoring to cultural nuances. (No GPT Copywritting)
- Coordinate with influencers or creators for UGC projects, ensuring timely delivery of content.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding creative strategy and deliverables.
- Lead client presentations and provide expert insights on creative direction.
- Oversee the quality of all creative outputs, ensuring they meet client expectations and drive results.
- Fluent German with a strong understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances.
- 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, copywriting, or art direction (preferably in an agency or DTC brand environment).
- Proven track record of developing high-performing paid social ads and UGC-based campaigns.
- Ability to translate data into actionable creative insights.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
