Key Responsibilities
- Website Development: Build and optimize WordPress websites with a focus on landing pages, blogs, and overall site performance.
- Server Configuration: Set up and manage servers using Bitnami images on Google Cloud or AWS, including configuring SSL certificates.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure fast load times and implement changes to achieve and maintain a +90 PageSpeed score across all pages, with no exceptions.
- Tool Expertise: Work with Elementor or help transition us to a new platform if needed.
- Marketing Integrations: Implement and manage marketing tools, integrations, and tracking pixels effectively.
- A/B Testing: Develop and deploy A/B testing functionality for continuous improvement of site performance and conversions.
- Custom Development: Use PHP and JavaScript to create or customize functionality as needed.
- Agile Development: Commit to sprint deliverables, participate in grooming sessions to size work with story points, and ensure timely, quality deliverables.
- Collaboration with QA: Work closely with QA to ensure implementations meet all acceptance criteria and are tested thoroughly.
- AI Tool Utilization: Leverage AI tools like GPT-4.0 to brainstorm, write code, and create testing plans for deliverables.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Proven experience building B2B services websites on WordPress.
- Proficiency in configuring servers (Bitnami images, Google Cloud, AWS) and SSL certificates.
- Expertise in Elementor or similar page builders, with the ability to recommend alternatives.
- Strong understanding of marketing pixels, tracking codes, and analytics tools.
- Experience implementing A/B testing and CRO tools.
- Solid grasp of PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress development best practices.
- Strong performance optimization skills, with a proven track record of achieving +90 PageSpeed scores.
- Agile development experience, including sprint planning and story-point estimation.
- Ability to write and execute thorough testing plans.
- Familiarity with popular WordPress marketing plugins and integrations.
- Knowledge of advanced SEO principles and tools.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, marketing-driven environment.
