We are seeking a Senior Creative Art Director to join our nearshore team supporting customer headquarters. This strategic, hands-on role will lead the creative design process for print, digital, and in-store content. The ideal candidate has a strong background in art direction, graphic design, storyboarding, and campaign development and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced retail environment.
As a senior member of the team, you will bring innovative ideas and storytelling to life through creative concepts, illustrations, and visual campaigns. You will play a critical role in the development of seasonal promotions, branding initiatives, and marketing materials that align with long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Development:
- Develop and present creative concepts for marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal materials (e.g., Back-to-School, Halloween, etc.).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create cohesive designs for logos, graphics, and language for campaigns across platforms.
- Design & Illustration:
- Lead the creation of high-quality designs and illustrations for print (e.g., weekly ads, posters, in-store displays) and digital platforms (e.g., app ads, banners).
- Provide hands-on design expertise and guide the team through the creative process.
- Storyboarding:
- Create and present storyboards for campaigns and projects, visualizing concepts for stakeholders and aligning them with business goals.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure design consistency and alignment across all touchpoints.
- Participate in cross-departmental meetings to share and refine ideas, ensuring smooth execution across various channels.
- Serve as a mentor and creative lead for junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to enhance the team’s output.
- Execution:
- Oversee the design placement for in-store displays, product packaging, promotional boxes, and seasonal content.
- Ensure all creative assets meet brand standards and resonate with the target audience.
- Deliver on long-term projects, including conceptualizing content a year in advance for major campaigns.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in creative design, art direction, or a similar role, in retail or marketing.
- Proven experience leading creative projects and mentoring a design team.
- Technical Skills:
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Strong experience in storyboarding and creating concepts for print and digital campaigns.
- Background in illustration and visual storytelling for diverse formats.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative decisions to various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with marketing and cross-functional teams.
- English skill proficient
