Email Marketing Specialist

Our client is hiring an Email Marketing Contractor (4 month contract) to join their dynamic Digital Marketing team. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who will support email and digital marketing initiatives, helping create engaging content and overseeing flawless campaign execution. The position involves collaborating with team members to deliver compelling, on-brand content that drives traffic and supports business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of email and digital content aligned with business priorities and sales performance.
• Partner closely with the Email Supervisor and Media Performance team to produce weekly email campaigns, ensuring creative is on-brand and impactful.
• Provide guidance and detailed direction to the team’s student co-op, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Oversee creative calendars, manage email assets, maintain the weekly planning document, and conduct QA on emails to ensure accuracy.
• Create strategically sound briefs and offer clear, focused feedback for creative projects.
• Stay updated on competitive email trends and best practices in email marketing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• 1-2 years of brand marketing experience; prior experience with email marketing is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communicator with a talent for brief writing and creative assessment, providing actionable feedback.
• Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills across disciplines.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
