Job Description
To help us meet a surge in demand we need a Video Editor comfortable with assembling recorded footage and CGI into finished marketing films that match the Director's vision. Ultimately, as a Film and Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story
This can be a fully remote role, but you must be able to work UK office hours of 0900 to 1800 GMT.

Responsibilities
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp production team's needs and specifications
- Review vision and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts and colour corrections
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with Associates from production to post-production process
- Ensure that workflow is flexible enough to adapt to changing requirements
You will have experience, skills and knowledge in the following:
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong showreel portfolio
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with VFX, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
