As a Lead Game Designer, you will play a pivotal role in this exciting phase of growth and innovation.

- Serve as a hands-on game design expert, driving decisions with an in-depth knowledge of F2P game design, economy balancing, and particularly ad monetization strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and expand the Game Design and (temporarily) the UI/UX teams, ensuring alignment with each game’s vision and the company’s broader goals.
- Guide and oversee the game design process from ideation to live implementation, supporting existing Game Designers in effectively designing and documenting game ideas and features.
- Create templates and maintain a consistent documentation structure to streamline communication across departments.
- Understand the entire game development process and fine-tune cross-departmental workflows to enhance our procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in game design practices in strong collaboration with Product Management.
- Work with the Product and Growth/User Acquisition teams to ensure games are designed with optimal ad placements and monetization strategies.
- Leverage data-driven insights to enhance and innovate features across all games in the portfolio, aiming to maximize player engagement and monetization effectively.
- Define and implement a clear, cohesive design pipeline for live games.
- Analyze performance metrics to continuously refine game balancing, pacing, and overall feel.
- Stay abreast of market trends to keep our games competitive and innovative.
- Recruit and evaluate new game design talent, ensuring a skilled and cohesive team dynamic.
- Actively engage in the creation and development of new game prototypes, providing strategic design guidance to ensure alignment with our future game development and innovation goals.
- Proven leadership and mentorship skills with at least 5 years of experience in game design, including 2+ years managing design teams.
- Strong proficiency with game mechanics, live operations, F2P strategies, and monetization, with a particular emphasis on ad monetization within games.
- Robust analytical abilities with a solid understanding of mobile game KPIs and how they relate to player acquisition and retention.
- Strong prototyping skills with an understanding of building modular and reusable features.
- Deep experience in balancing and economy design within F2P mobile games.
- Proficient in Unity and familiar with tools like Miro or similar for collaborative design efforts.
- Ability to pitch and deconstruct big features into manageable components.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, fluent in English.
- Adaptability to swiftly changing technology and player trends to keep our games at the cutting edge.
