Job Description
Our client is makes AAA action games in a realistic art style. We seek an experience graphics/render programmer to join their onsite team. Full relocation package and visa support provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to enhance our cutting-edge graphics pipeline, focusing on advanced rendering techniques, lighting, and special effects.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize both current and upcoming rendering code.
- Proactively explore and integrate new rendering methods and technologies.
- Communicate effectively and work closely with Technical Artists to design, refine, and iterate on tools and features.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field.
- Strong proficiency in C++.
- Solid understanding and practical application of 3D mathematics, rendering algorithms, and data structures.
- A performance-focused mindset with strong optimization skills.
- Initiative and drive to continually learn and implement emerging rendering techniques.
- Proficiency in mathematical analysis.
- Familiarity with physically-based rendering techniques and how to apply them.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience working alongside Technical Artists to collaboratively develop tools and features.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of a wide range of graphics APIs and shader languages, including DirectX and OpenGL/GLSL.
- Hands-on experience developing for 9th generation console platforms.
