SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB We are seeking a People Operations Coordinator who is passionate about creating a seamless and delightful employment experience for our distributed workforce. You will hone your project management skills as you own multiple projects to support our People team while providing top-notch internal customer service for our employees and managers. The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for performing employee administrative-related duties and project management on a professional level to help ensure that the day-to-day operations of the company run smoothly and works closely with the Chief People Officer, Deputy People Officer, General Counsel, and all members of the CBT Nuggets team at large. This position carries out various responsibilities in the following functional areas: various administrative tasks for end-to-end employee experience from recruitment to exit, supporting benefits enrollment and onboarding, internal compliance support, policy maintenance support, light IT support, managing our cell phone program end to end, various engagement activities and administrative support tasks, providing excellent customer service to employees at CBT Nuggets, and supporting NuggetLove philanthropy projects, as well as other duties as assigned. - Be a go-to person on the People team for employees to come to with any and all questions, support various administrative and informational announcements for the team-at-large
- Create People team process and procedure content for the Adept platform alongside our Deputy People Officer
- Support processing ongoing employee data and benefits management in HRIS and other people systems to ensure our people data is always top notch
- Light IT Duties alongside our Deputy People Officer
- Management of our company cell phone program and account
- Provide additional support to the People and Legal teams in areas such as benefits, immigration, leaves of absence, compliance and policy maintenance
- Support people data reporting and analytics
- Support NuggetLove philanthropy and community outreach projects such as free training donations and events sponsorships
- Provide support to team leads for team planning meetings and workshops, as well as team building activities and conflict resolution
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years of applicable work experience
