Job Description
A leading global provider of online trading services with a strong presence across various GEOs is looking for an experienced Mid-level IT Support Specialist to strengthen their IT department. This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, focusing on the support and administration of trading platforms, servers, and the company's IT infrastructure.
This role involves occasional coverage for shifts to assist the 24/7 support team when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT services as part of a team that covers all aspects of L2 and L3 IT support.
- Administer the company’s trading platforms and related software, both third-party and in-house developed.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers, ensuring timely updates, backups, and smooth operation.
- Manage the company’s server infrastructure, including the deployment of new servers and virtualization systems.
- Assist the on-call support team in troubleshooting issues, with the possibility of covering shifts (24/7 operations).
- Monitor servers, services, and the company’s network infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues.
- Perform regular checks on the performance and health of all servers, trading platforms, and other systems.
- Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional tasks and projects.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in IT or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Previous experience in banking or brokerage is a must.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting Windows systems.
- Experience administering Metatrader 4/5 platforms.
- Proficiency in administering Linux (deb-based) distributions.
- Experience with Hyper-V virtualization systems and clustering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft products such as AD, RDS, VDI, and Group Policies.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries (MSSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with trading execution systems such as "Liquidity Hub" (OneZero, PrimeXM, Centroid, etc.).
- Ability to automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience reading logs and resolving issues with applications, trading platforms, and hardware.
- Experience with Jira for ticketing and Confluence for documentation.
- Experience with Zabbix monitoring system.
- Ability to self-learn new technologies and tools.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong teamwork skills.
- Language proficiency - Intermediate level of English, Ru speaker.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Knowledge of analyzing FIX API logs.
- Understanding of network protocols and routing protocols.
