Job Description

About the Role: We're seeking an adaptable and proactive Senior SEO Strategist to drive our organic search performance and contribute to our overall marketing strategy. This role will be crucial in optimizing our existing products and supporting our expansion into new areas. We place the highest value on soft skills, critical thinking, and the ability to learn quickly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, independent thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving across all aspects of our marketing efforts.


Requirements:

  • Must overlap with PT (9am – 7pm) for at least 3 hours, M-F
  • Must have your own laptop and reliable internet (5mb/s+)
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hrs/wk
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • High level of proactivity and independent thinking
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and strategies
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in SEO strategy, content writing, and optimization (3+ years preferred)
  • Basic proficiency in SEO tools (Semrush, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, etc.)


Responsibilities:

  1. SEO Strategy and Analysis
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies
  • Utilize tools like SEMrush, Google Search Console, Keyword Planner, Google Trends, Ahrefs, and Exploding Topics for research and analysis
  • Create and maintain SEO plans using Notion and Excel
  • Analyze competitor strategies and identify opportunities
  1. Content Strategy and Creation
  • Develop content strategies aligned with SEO goals for existing and new products
  • Create detailed SEO content briefs
  • Produce high-quality content that outperforms competitors
  • Write product marketing copy and blog posts
  1. Link Building and Authority
  • Improve website authority scores
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks
  1. Technical SEO
  • Create tickets for the engineering team to address technical SEO issues
  • Conduct regular SEO audits and implement improvements
  1. Email Marketing
  • Optimize email marketing campaigns and flows
  1. Reporting and Communication
  • Provide regular reports on SEO performance and content effectiveness
  • Communicate blockers and challenges proactively via Slack
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO strategies


Bonus:

  1. Work experience outside the recruiting area, particularly in the US or EU, or with US companies, and have returned home
  2. Graduated from a top local university
