MARKETING MANAGER - £35,000 per annum

The role:
Are you a dynamic and creative marketing professional? We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our vibrant team and help spread the word about our exceptional group of hotels!
As the Marketing Manager at Lake District Hotels, you'll elevate our brand presence by engaging with audiences across multiple marketing channels, with a strong focus on social media. You'll create and share captivating content daily, including viral reels, engaging posts, and interactive stories. You'll also organise influencer visits, interact with guests online, write press releases and blogs, create promotional emails, promote events, publicise food offerings and special deals, and manage local, regional, and national advertising and competitions. Plus, you’ll lead a team, managing at least one Marketing Executive who reports directly to you.
Please note that this position requires working from our office, as it is essential for fostering collaboration and teamwork. Remote or flexible working options are not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Social Media Management: Engage on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and more. Share engaging daily content, respond to followers, monitor reviews, and keep social media account designs fresh and updated.
· Meta Business Suite & Manager: be able to set, run and track adverts with a marketing budget, targeting different audiences, with monthly reporting
· Data Analysis: Analyse engagement data and trends, monitor SEO and web traffic metrics, report on ROI, successes, and trends, and propose improvements based on campaign performance.
· Campaign Planning: Design and implement social media content strategies, plan digital campaigns to build brand loyalty, manage budgets, and develop promotions and competitions.
· Content Creation: Create SEO-optimised content for blogs, third-party sites, and newsletters. Ensure website content is current and engaging.
· Visuals: Organise and run venue photoshoots, showcase videos and 3D tours with outside suppliers to capture professional content for website
· Public Relations: Develop and implement PR strategies, prepare and distribute press releases, track and report on media coverage.
· Website Management: Collaborate to plan and update site content and layout, oversee photo galleries, and implement seasonal theming.
· Advertising: Plan and manage advertising efforts, regularly refresh and update adverts.
· Events: Drive bookings to events through marketing channels. Attend events outside of normal working hours to capture content for social media.
· Team Leadership: Lead monthly marketing meetings, follow up on actions, and collaborate with team members on various projects.

Full time, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday, 9-5pm, with very occasional evening and weekend work to capture content from events.

Working from our head office at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa in the Borrowdale Valley, but must be able to drive and have a car as part of the job requirements.
Requirements:
· Essential Qualifications: English Language and English Literature GCSE
· Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills with Keen Attention to Detail
· Solid modern marketing background with experience on social media
· Must have experience and be confident using Meta Business Suite & Manager
· Familiarity with WordPress
· Strong Analytical and Communication Skills
· Be a Creative and Collaborative Team Player
· Highly Organised with Strong Time Management Skills and the Ability to Multitask Effectively
· Valid Driver's License and Own Car Required for commuting to our central office and other hotel locations
