Game Sound Effect Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and creative Game Sound Effect Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a wide range of in-game sound effects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create dynamic sound effects for in-game elements, including character skills, interactions, and environment sounds.
• Configure and implement background music (BGM) tailored to different game settings.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive library of sound effects and audio assets specific to each project.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to oversee the sound production process, ensuring timely delivery and top-notch quality.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in sound design, with at least 1 (one) year in the gaming industry. A background in music production is a plus. Passion for both games and music is essential.
• Expertise in designing and producing sound effects and BGM for characters, environments, UI, and CG films, with a strong ability to assess and implement appropriate game soundscapes.
• Proficient in using audio production software such as Cubase, Logic, ProTools, Reaper, or Nuendo, with a solid understanding of related plugins.
• Experience with Unity for sound configuration is preferred.
• Strong appreciation for music, with a deep understanding of various music genres and languages.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and work collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory
