Job Description
The WordPress Content Assistant will be responsible for managing and publishing content on our WordPress site. This includes uploading pre-created content, ensuring formatting consistency, optimizing for SEO, and coordinating with the content team to meet publication deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a good understanding of WordPress functionalities.
Responsibilities:
- Upload and format pre-created content on the WordPress platform.
- Ensure all content meets the company’s quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Optimize content for SEO using provided keywords and best practices.
- Schedule and publish posts according to the content calendar.
- Coordinate with writers, editors, and other team members to ensure timely publication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to content posting.
- Maintain and update existing content as needed.
- Assist with other content-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with WordPress.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with content management and scheduling tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in content management or digital publishing.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
