Job Description

The WordPress Content Assistant will be responsible for managing and publishing content on our WordPress site. This includes uploading pre-created content, ensuring formatting consistency, optimizing for SEO, and coordinating with the content team to meet publication deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a good understanding of WordPress functionalities.


Responsibilities:

  • Upload and format pre-created content on the WordPress platform.
  • Ensure all content meets the company’s quality standards and brand guidelines.
  • Optimize content for SEO using provided keywords and best practices.
  • Schedule and publish posts according to the content calendar.
  • Coordinate with writers, editors, and other team members to ensure timely publication.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to content posting.
  • Maintain and update existing content as needed.
  • Assist with other content-related tasks as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with WordPress.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with content management and scheduling tools is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in content management or digital publishing.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
