Jr Game Developer

Gnarly is a game startup creating casual action games for mobile platforms.

We developed hits like Agent Hunt (60M+ downloads) and Frontline Heroes (15M+ downloads).

We are looking for a Jr. Game Developer to join our remote team. We value talent and a passion for hybrid casual games.

As a Jr. Game Developer, you will design and implement gameplay mechanics and meta-systems. You will work with designers and artists to deliver engaging, polished, and optimized games.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop game mechanics, meta-systems, and tools.
• Maintain and optimize games.
• Use data-driven development for modular code.
• Innovate game development practices with the team.

Requirements:

• No prior professional experience needed.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong Unity and C# skills.
• Experience with game projects (completion not necessary).
• Familiar with git version control.
• Passion for mobile games.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eager to learn new techniques and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field.
• Enthusiast gamer who enjoys exploring new genres.
• Experience in mobile game development cycle.
