Key Responsibilities
- Client Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Sales and Revenue Growth
- Identify new business opportunities and upsell services to existing clients.
- Achieve sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
- Account Strategy
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients' business goals and challenges to structure bespoke solutions.
- Anticipate client needs, working with them to ensure they receive the highest standard of service.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Payments Expertise
- Provide expert advice on payments processing and related products/services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the payments sector.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide training to clients on new features and enhancements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support for clients.
- Work closely with the product development team to relay client feedback and influence product enhancements.
- Coordinate with marketing to execute client-focused initiatives and events.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in account management or sales, preferably within the payments or financial technology sector.
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of key accounts with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of payment processing, gateways, and financial technologies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint).
