Job Description


Talent Acquisition Specialist – Central Missouri (In‑Person Required)

Locations: Columbia, MO • Jefferson City, MO • Other Central Missouri Centerstone sites


We’re seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist (1–3 years recruiting experience) who currently lives within 1 hour of Columbia or Jefferson City, Missouri and can work on‑site 5 days/week during the probationary period. Hybrid options (up to 3 days/week remote) may be available afterward based on performance.

Applicants living farther away must plan to relocate and provide a relocation date.

Join a mission-driven organization focused on changing and saving lives. You’ll partner with HR and hiring leaders to attract top talent, build strong candidate pipelines, and support recruitment initiatives across Central Missouri.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies for assigned regions
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, and networks
  • Screen resumes (including via HiredScore) and conduct interviews
  • Support hiring events, career fairs, and community recruitment activities
  • Manage requisitions and workflows in Workday (HRIS/ATS)
  • Strengthen partnerships with schools, agencies, and community organizations
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes


What You Bring
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and adapt in a fast‑paced setting
  • Tech‑savvy with MS Office/Google Suite; ATS experience preferred (Workday ideal)
  • Public speaking confidence and professionalism
  • Bachelor's + 1 year recruiting experience or HS/Associate + 3 years
  • Must be 21+, have reliable transportation, and pass a background check
