Job Description


My client is a leading force in the North American sports betting and online casino affiliation space, in search of a Social Media Manager. This is a rare opportunity to build and lead an organic social media function from the ground up shaping strategy, setting the vision, and owning day to day operations across multiple platforms.

The Role

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the full social media strategy for a growing portfolio of sports betting and online casino assets. You’ll combine big picture creativity with hands on execution posting, engaging, testing new formats, and driving consistent visibility around key sporting moments.


You’ll play a central role in building loyal communities, amplifying campaigns, supporting commercial initiatives, and laying the foundation for influencer and community driven programs. The ideal candidate brings strong platform expertise, a deep understanding of regulated gambling environments, and proven experience scaling social channels.


Key Responsibilities


Social Media Ownership

  • Develop social strategies and platform specific plans in collaboration with Marketing and Business stakeholders.
  • Run daily organic social activity across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with brand and performance goals.
  • Optimize posting, testing, and content approaches to drive traffic, authority, and engagement.

Community Building & Engagement

  • Build and nurture an active sports and gaming community across all major channels.
  • Drive meaningful engagement and encourage user generated content.
  • Track conversations, trends, and sentiment to inform content decisions and strengthen brand presence.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Content, SEO, Lifecycle, Paid Media, and Commercial teams to support broader business objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction to junior team members and freelancers, ensuring smooth execution and broad coverage.
  • Advise stakeholders on platform opportunities and best practices.

Strategy & Growth Initiatives

  • Shape and refine long term platform strategies tailored to audience needs and business targets.
  • Identify opportunities to drive inbound traffic from social to key sites.
  • Contribute to influencer and community-driven project development.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all content aligns with legal guidelines, platform rules, and gambling compliance standards.
  • Promote internal processes that support safe, efficient, and sustainable social operations.
  • Stay informed on policy updates and adjust strategies proactively.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide ongoing performance management, including reviews and 1:1s.
  • Recruit and develop talent in collaboration with HR and TA teams.
  • Lead by example and contribute positively to team culture.


What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of social media management experience, with proven success growing and owning channels.
  • Hands on expertise in posting, community management, analytics, and content optimization.
  • Experience leading or guiding junior staff or freelancers (preferred).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of compliance in regulated industries gambling/sports betting experience highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the North American betting and casino market is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours around major sporting events (evenings/weekends).
  • Experience with influencer or branded content partnerships (a plus).


Location Requirements

This role is hybrid in Miami, with 3 days per week onsite.

Candidates must already live in Miami or be willing to relocate.
