ReciMe is a recipe app revolutionizing how cooks organize, plan and shop their recipes. We’re trusted as the digital cookbook by over 500,000 home cooks every week. Our smart importing tool enables users to aggregate all their recipes in one platform within seconds - whether those recipes came from an Instagram video, recipe blog or grandma’s recipe box. We’ve been a Top 10 app in the US App Store’s Food category for months and were recently featured on The Drew Barrymore Show. We’re profitable, and growing fast - in the last year, our user base has 10x from 500k to 5M users.
Now, we’re looking for a iOS developer with predominately SwiftUI experience to join our small team!
🚀 What You’ll Do
- Collaborate directly with our CTO (Nic), co-founder (Christine) and a Product Manager to A/B test ReciMe’s product experience and drive innovative new features
- Design, develop, maintain iOS and iPadOS applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Debug and optimise applications for optimal performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies.
💪 What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in iOS development.
- Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (e.g. Xcode Cloud).
- Knowledge of software design patterns such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to server-side services.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g. Firebase, AlamoFire etc).
- Experience with Git and agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus: Any prior startup experience or willingness to take on ownership and wear many hats in a startup.
