CAD Designer

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a CAD Designer in our Branch Office Zagreb.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Development of high voltage/low voltage connectors for the European automotive market
• Design verification of electrical connection system
• Technical benchmarking of internal and external automotive connection systems in terms of design, performance and quality
• Collaborate with team members to review design requirement and evaluate concept design
• Develop concept design considering customer requirement (mechanical, electrical, environmental).
• Develop concept design considering manufacturability (design for manufacturing and assembly)
• Create and/or support team members in creation of technical documentation (drawings, tolerance analyses, presentations, documents for quotation, handling manual, product standard etc.)
• Development of jigs for validation purpose (models and drawings)

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering University Degree.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience (highly motivated graduates are welcome to apply for this position as well)
• Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Knowledge of CAD software Catia v. 5 is mandatory and/or Solidworks
• Motivated to design, modify and improve/benchmark of automotive connection system
• Team oriented, communication skills, self-motivated hands-on mentality
• Business proficiency in English language in spoken and written communication is mandatory. Other languages appreciated (preferred German, French)
• Presentation skills in both spoken and written
• Willing to raise the output standards to a higher level wherever seen appropriate
• Flexible in terms of intercultural-skills, willing/able to travel from time to time and having the customers schedule in focus
