Position Summary:
MedReview is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Mining Auditor to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position will focus primarily on data mining auditing related to claims resolution, where the individual will analyze data to determine the accuracy of claims and identify overpayment or underpayment issues. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment and possess excellent communication skills. This is a remote role. Salary: $75K

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough data audits to ensure accuracy in claims processing and resolution.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, discrepancies, and trends related to claims performance.
  • Work closely with team members to share insights, collaborate on problem-solving, and contribute to discussions regarding claims audits.
  • Resolve claims discrepancies by determining whether claims are underpaid or overpaid, providing clear documentation of findings.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency while following established leadership guidelines.
  • Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma is required; additional education in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment, with a focus on claims processing or auditing preferred.
  • Familiarity with claims auditing in the data mining space is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential; advanced Excel skills are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate findings clearly and effectively.
