About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist – Analytics Lead to drive real-time, game-critical insights that directly impact player engagement, game performance, and business outcomes. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in fast-moving gaming environments, connects patterns quickly, and turns analytics into immediate action.

This is not a passive reporting role. You’ll work closely with Game Design, Product, and Leadership, influencing decisions daily and shaping how games evolve.

Local candidates are strongly preferred. Exceptional non-local candidates with gaming experience and relocation flexibility will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve game and business KPIs, from definition through optimization
• Design and maintain dashboards and analytics used daily by Game Designers and leadership
• Analyze player behavior, game performance, and experiments (A/B testing)
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in real time and recommend actions
• Translate complex data into clear, decision-driving narratives
• Partner closely with Product, Game Design, and Management in a rapid-iteration cycle

• Support experimentation, performance tuning, and live-game optimization

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
• Strong analytical instincts with the ability to problem-solve independently
• Hands-on experience influencing decisions—not just reporting metrics
• Proficiency in:
• SQL
• Tableau or Power BI
• Excel
• Python or R
• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and performance measurement
• Comfort working with incomplete or evolving data sets

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in gaming or online player analytics (slots experience is a plus)
