Job Description: Healthcare Data Architect

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

Role is PT - 20/30 hours weekly. Some weeks may be 40 hours (open to candidates who have full time employment elsewhere and can work flexible hours)

Department: Premier works with hundreds/thousands of different hospitals

technical account manager assigned to every project.

Working with the technical Account Manager and escalating anything that needs to be dealt with (leading the data mapping in the data acquisition piece) .

Key Responsibilities:

• accountable for leading implementations to acquire and transform members’ source system data into specified formats for loading into Premier ITS applications
• some client facing - as long as they can make themselves available during that customer interaction

• data architect focus
• working with health systems to acquire all of their EHR data
• need architects who are experts at data to map the data from the source system to their specification and modify the SQL they have built
• Premier has built a template that is 80% can be used from customer to customer, but the 20% that cannot they need an expert to dive in and look at the data and find out where the data sets are
• help with data mapping
• having conversations with members and quiz them and figure out where the data is
• write/modify SQL to query the data to where they need to be
• assist with data profiling
• run through standard process and go through and evaluate based upon the output from that process
• where do they have data that is expected in that field and help to get that resolved
• focus of the role is the data, need a SME
• data mapping to get into =Premier's specification, given to ETL engineers, and this person would be an input or support to an ETL engineer
• modifying SQL code that already exists (they would not be doing any coding)

Qualifications:

• need someone who had deep knowledge of EHR data, specifically with epic clarity, metatech or cerner would be OK
• need architects who are experts at data to map the data from the source system
• deep data knowledge
• SQL
• data bricks
• BI application - Tableau
• bachelors degree
• certifications - any modules of EPIC (priority) certifications and CERNER
