Position Summary

As Flexnode’s Creative Marketing Manager, you’ll shape how the world experiences our brand—from our website and campaigns to every touchpoint in between. You’ll blend design, storytelling, and marketing strategy to elevate Flexnode’s position as the most innovative modular data center company in the world.


This is a hands-on creative role for a manager who can both design and direct: developing high-impact visuals, leading brand consistency, managing content calendars, and executing marketing initiatives that connect with customers, partners, and investors alike.


Working closely with the Chief Growth Officer, COO, and senior leadership team, you’ll evolve our brand identity, build compelling marketing materials, and bring our story to life across digital, print, and events. You’re equal parts designer, marketer, and communicator—someone who thrives in creative autonomy, brings clarity to complexity, and delivers beautiful, functional results on tight timelines.


Responsibilities

Brand

  • Evolve and manage Flexnode’s visual identity across all channels and materials.
  • Maintain and expand the brand library and style guide, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Design and produce digital, print, and presentation materials that reflect Flexnode’s brand and mission.
  • Source, brief, and manage external creative and content partners (designers, web developers, videographers) as needed.
  • Own the vision, content, and upkeep of the Flexnode website, ensuring it reflects our product innovation and design standards.
  • Create and manage photo, video, and motion graphics assets that enhance storytelling and brand engagement.

Marketing

  • Partner with the Chief Growth Officer to develop and execute marketing campaigns targeting customers, investors, and industry partners.
  • Design and update marketing collateral, including product sheets, decks, brochures, and digital assets.
  • Manage Flexnode’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, and others) to build awareness, generate leads, and showcase thought leadership.
  • Track and report key marketing metrics, optimizing content and spend for maximum impact.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives with creative assets and messaging aligned to company goals.
  • Coordinate event and conference participation, including brand materials, visuals, and content.

Communications

  • Work with leadership, external partners, and consultants to draft, design, and distribute press releases, announcements, and updates.
  • Develop internal and external communications that strengthen alignment and clarity.
  • Assist with investor and board presentation materials.
  • Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and visual style across all written and designed materials.


Required Qualifications / Skills

  • 5–7 years of experience in brand, marketing, or creative communications roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute brand identity systems across channels.
  • Expert proficiency in design platforms like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), and Canva.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, campaign planning, and analytics.
  • Excellent visual design, layout, and typography skills.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling ability, with an eye for design that sells ideas clearly.
  • Experience managing content calendars, websites, and social media for B2B or tech audiences.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and skilled at managing multiple projects in parallel.
  • Collaborative communicator with experience working directly with leadership teams.
  • Comfortable working in high-velocity, remote-first, startup environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in technology, infrastructure, AI, or modular construction industries.
  • Familiarity with SEO, analytics, and web performance tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
  • Experience managing creative agencies or contractors.
  • Knowledge of AI-powered design and marketing tools (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT, Runway).
  • Experience supporting brand and product launches or rebrands.


Reporting, Compensation & Benefits

  • Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
  • Collaborates with: Senior Leadership Team
  • Compensation: Commensurate with experience and credentials, anticipated between $85,000–$115,000
  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; unlimited PTO
  • Location: Fully remote position; ideal candidates are in NYC or SF
