We’re looking for a Back-End Developer to design, build, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases. This role is ideal for someone experienced in back-end programming, system integration, and creating scalable solutions in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs
- Design and manage databases, schemas, and data storage solutions
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and data teams
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize back-end systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
- Stay updated with emerging back-end technologies and best practices

- 1–3 years of experience in back-end development or related roles
- Proficiency in at least one back-end language (Python, Java, Node.js, C#, etc.)
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL) and server-side frameworks
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Based in Australia with legal right to work full-time
