About the Opportunity:
The organization provides construction field management software used on over 1,000,000 projects worldwide. The Security Engineer role focuses on building, deploying, and maintaining multi-cloud security controls, supporting security program initiatives, and enhancing compliance standards. This position aims to improve the security posture of cloud-based applications and systems through automated security processes and collaboration with engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
• Implement essential security projects
• Maintain a Vulnerability Management program
• Define and promote security best practices
• Participate in security incident management, assessment, and vulnerability testing across web, mobile, cloud infrastructure, and internal networks
• Provide vulnerability information from Threat Hunting to the team
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve security visibility, monitoring, hardening, and response
• Manage and configure security controls on endpoint solutions such as GSuite, SSO, Data Loss Prevention, and firewalls
• Manage tabletop exercises, red team engagements, and bug bounty programs

Requirements:
• Bachelor''s degree in Cloud/Network Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience as a Security Engineer
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Rust
• Experience with cloud services including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience implementing detective controls and security processes like static and dynamic code analysis
• Experience with vulnerability management remediation
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, standards, and frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience managing audits and security standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2
• Knowledge of data residency and GDPR requirements
• Experience in offensive security engagements such as penetration testing

Compensation:
• Estimated pay range: $145,000 - $170,000
• Salary range varies by location and considers skills, qualifications, and experience
