Graphic Designer – Paid Media (Ecommerce & Performance Marketing)
Location: Ontario, Canada (Remote within Ontario)

Acorn Strategy is a Shopify-focused ecommerce agency working with fast-growing brands across North America. Our marketing department is deeply performance-driven. Every creative we produce is built to convert, tested in real ad accounts, and optimized based on data.
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer with paid media experience to join our marketing team and help produce high-performing ad creatives across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest.
This is not a purely brand or social role. You’ll be designing creatives that are launched, tested, iterated, and scaled.
- Design static and motion ad creatives for:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- Google (Display & YouTube assets)
- TikTok
- Create performance-driven ad concepts for ecommerce brands (DTC & B2B)
- Iterate on winning creatives based on performance data (CTR, CPA, ROAS)
- Collaborate closely with paid media strategists and account managers
- Adapt brand assets into multiple ad formats, hooks, and variations
- Support creative testing frameworks (new hooks, angles, formats)
- Use AI tools to enhance workflow and efficiency without relying on them as a crutch

- 3+ years of graphic design experience
- Agency experience is required
- Hands-on experience designing for paid media campaigns
- Strong understanding of ecommerce advertising creative best practices
- Proven experience creating assets for:
- Meta Ads
- Google Ads
- TikTok Ads
- Pinterest Ads
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or equivalent)
- Experience using AI tools (e.g. generative design, ideation, automation) thoughtfully and strategically
- Ability to design with performance in mind, not just aesthetics
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Motion design or short-form video ad experience
- Experience working with ecommerce brands on Shopify
- Familiarity with creative testing frameworks for paid media
- Understanding of platform-specific creative nuances
