DentalScan is a healthcare technology company focused on expanding access to preventive dental care through smartphone-based scans and AI-assisted insights. Our mission is to help families, children, and underserved communities detect dental issues earlier, reduce costly emergency treatment, and make oral health screening accessible outside traditional clinics.
We are building a platform that enables dental monitoring at scale, connecting real users with early detection tools that can meaningfully improve long-term health outcomes.
We are now entering the final phase of our journey, releasing Version 1 of the MVP while preparing to close our funding round. The product is already built and near production, and we are seeking a Full Stack Engineer Intern with approximately 4 years of real development experience to take ownership of critical frontend and backend work.
This is not a junior internship, you will be treated as a core engineer responsible for shipping production-ready systems.
Core Mission- Take technical ownership of major parts of the existing platform
- Work across frontend, backend, and ML coordination
- Unblock testing, migrations, and deployments
- Stabilize architecture for security and scale
- Deliver a production system capable of handling tens of thousands of scans
Success = a stable DentalScan V1 live in production and ready for real users.
Schedule, Mandatory- Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM EST, Monday to Friday
- This time block is mandatory
- Work is conducted in live team voice collaboration
- You will work alongside approximately 10 developers in real time
- This is not a work on your own time role
