Mobile App Developer (iOS and Android)

Required skills:

• Native iOS / Android development
• Ability to debug memory leaks and optimize code
• React Native
• Expo
• TypeScript
• Knowing how to do automated testing, having experience working with video and audio players would be an advantage.

Conditions:

IStories Media (https://istories.media/) is an independent Russian-language media outlet founded by well-known investigative journalists. Since 2022, operating in exile. With a legacy of impactful journalism, including contributions to #PandoraPapers, Project Cassandra, #RottenberFiles, and many more. IStories focuses on investigating Russian army war crimes in Ukraine, uncovering corruption, and data-driven stories about Russia.

To fight censorship in Russia and still be able to provide trustworthy information for people inside and outside the country, we want to make a mobile app for iOS and Android platforms. And looking for a developer who wants to help independent media and be a part of real changes.
