Partner with Account and Project Managers to coordinate communication, project management, and delivery
Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and next steps to keep client engagements on track
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment, resourcing, and continuity across client work

Overview โ€“ Digital Marketing Manager


Digital Marketing Managers at MAKE lead client strategy and execution, playing a central role in the success of our digital marketing efforts. This role is primarily focused on developing, managing, and optimizing digital marketing initiatives, while also maintaining day-to-day ownership of client relationships and engagement.


Digital Marketing Managers own the strategic direction of their assigned client roster and serve as a consistent lead for marketing-related initiatives. They develop a deep understanding of each clientโ€™s business, goals, and performance; work directly with stakeholders to define objectives; and translate insights into clear strategies, roadmaps, and actionable plans. While this role partners closely with Account and Project Managers for coordination and delivery, Digital Marketing Managers are expected to actively participate in account management, client communication, and project oversight to ensure successful outcomes.


This is a fully remote role. While candidates may be located anywhere in the U.S., those based in the Midwest and within driving distance of the Kansas City and St. Louis areas are strongly preferred.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies and campaigns, preferably for a marketing agency or other multi-department organization.
  • Experience working across major digital marketing channels, with a strong emphasis on SEO and paid media (SEM/PPC), as well as email, social, and content.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and manage marketing roadmaps and initiatives
  • Clear, confident communicator comfortable engaging clients on both strategic and tactical topics
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using insights and analysis to inform recommendations
  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable independently managing client relationships and marketing engagements when needed
  • Proficient with common digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Experience leveraging modern AI tools to support marketing strategy or execution
  • Foundational understanding of website best practices and CMS platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and working independently
  • Bonus: familiarity with common CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot and GoHighLevel
