Job Description:

Senior Test Engineer supporting the End-to-End Telematics Testing Team, responsible for validating the Client’s Digital systems using simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments. Tests both onboard machine software and back-office connectivity features, ensuring high-quality deliverables for the Connectivity division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute end-to-end telematics testing using simulation and HIL setups
• Perform software verification, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across software and electronics
• Drive release testing, defect resolution, and field issue investigations

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks
• Provide technical guidance on verification and validation best practices
• Collaborate with global teams across development, systems, and hardware groups
• Apply deep knowledge of NPI processes to support product releases
• Utilize vendor and internal tools effectively to improve test coverage and efficiency
• Support local testing operations; relocation to Peoria required
  
  

Experience & Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in software, systems, or telematics testing
• Strong experience with HIL, simulation-based testing, and connectivity systems
• Solid background in test automation and release validation
• Proven ability to independently manage work while mentoring junior engineers
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
