Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Ruby on Rails
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices
- Design and optimize database schemas and implement effective design patterns
- Develop and maintain background jobs and system integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
- Follow best practices such as TDD, CI/CD, Agile/SCRUM, refactoring, and coding standards
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve application performance and scalability

Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- 2+ years of experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer
- Strong working knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RDBMS, and OOP concepts
- Solid understanding of database design and software design patterns
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
- Good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Candidates must have U.S. work authorization
